The Lodge

The Lodge at Anchor Inn is the heart of our legendary Minnesota resort. It’s here that guests gather for warm welcome and friendly conversation over a pizza and an ice-cold beer, glass of wine or mixed drink. (Happy Hour is from 4 to 6 p.m. daily).  In the air-conditioned Lodge you can find the perfect hat, t-shirt, hoody or souvenir; an of course grab some snacks and ice cream treats. The River Room at the front of the lodge is the ideal spot for families and groups to enjoy a great panoramic view while you sit and visit. We now stock a variety of grocery items and offer a selection of tackle, motor oil and other vacation-need items.

Anchor Inn Resort is located in the Chippewa National Forest and is a convenient place to base your exploration of northern Minnesota. Much of Minnesota’s rich history is closely bound to its clean, clear waters. It was the source of life and method of transportation for the Native Americans, the early explorers, the log drive and the riverboats.
