From Grand Rapids, Minnesota take US 2 west through Deer River. On the west side of Deer River, turn right onto MN46. Stay on MN46 to the 20 mile marker. Turn right onto Itasca County Road 34 (Max Road). The county road will terminate in approximately six miles as it meets County Road 4. Continue straight ahead on Co. Rd. 4 for about 3 miles. It will take a wide ride turn to the east. You are 1.5 miles from your destination when you pass Itasca Co. Rd. 126. There is a 30 MPH speed limit as you come to a curve to the left. Anchor Inn Resort is right around the corner.
